Good afternoon. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sung-ho Park. I am a job counselor. Today, I am going to give you some tips and advice to get a job. If you have any questions, please ask me whenever you want. I know that one of you is junior student and another is a senior.
As you know that it is getting difficult to get a job. You need to compete with other students who want to get a job and you also make your self be competitive. As a counselor manage, I hope that my advice which I am telling you today can help you.
You don't graduate university yet. Especially, you junior student have the time more than senior. Before you try to get a job, you need to know yourself such as what kind of job is best for you, what kind of people you are and what kind of job you can do better. If you don't know what to do or what kind of person you are, I recommend you to have a aptitude test. Soong-Sil university gives you chance to have the test. It can help you to know about yourself.
If you want to get a job, you must have an interview. Here is some tips and advice what you have to do and you never do in a interview. First of all, don't be late at your interview. Do plan to arrive about 10 minutes early. Late arrival for a job interview is never excusable. . If you were late you might never get a second chance. Behavior is also important. You need to be normal. Here is a proverb, "A cornered stone meets the mason's chisel". Korean companies are very conservative and they want a man who can adapt oneself to the company.
Interviewers may judge you by your appearance so you need to wear a neat suit. Try to wear less obtrusive colours. You also need to have your hair cut tidy. Pretending you are optimistic person is also good point. Smiling can help you look like optimistic person. Some thing you never do is wearing colorful glasses and dying your hair.
Interviewers are may asking you many questions. Before you have an interview, you have to prepare answers of questions what you can expect. It is essential that you study about the company. You need to research and know the type of job interview you will attend and practice for the interview. You need to answer their questions as natural as possible.
When they ask you questions, don't answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no." You need to explain why you think like that. You need to express yourself as much as possible such as your talents, skills, and determination. Sometimes they make you embarrassed. If they do so, don't be nervous or embarrassed. In this situation, you keep yourself calm and find a good and tactful answer. They might just want to test your skills at embarrassing situation.
You are not the only one. I mean you are one of interviewee. If you want to be picked up by interviewer, you have to prove yourself that you are better than the others. Please, keep those thing, what I talked you, in your mind. Preparation and confidence are most important things. Make yourself to be prepared to get a job, which you most want. Preparation makes you feel confident.
I hope you can get a job, which you really want to do. Good luck to you.
Thank you.

Greetings, Mr. 박성호!
So, how are you doing these days? Your midterm exams are just around the corner, aren’t they? It’s a good thing all you have to do in this class is write a few in-class and out-of-class English compositions. No big deal!
Well, speaking of out-of-class English compositions, I visited your weblog again, and carefully read your second out-of-class composition activity (job hunting tips), plus I took a quick look at the rest of your weblog. This time the cycle of going through all the weblogs took much longer than I expected. Why? Well, I tried out a new more “efficient” system, but I ended up spending more time accessing all the websites. It is getting harder and harder to find a particular post on your website. Don’t forget to label your posts as directed.
Also, I found that many students “borrowed” a lot of material from the Internet. Be careful not to plagiarize.
Regarding your second assignment, I (a) selected five major issues, and (b) gave the corrections (X: = incorrect; C: = correct). I hope you will carefully look at these corrections and keep them in mind when you submit future assignments (that is, try not to repeat them):
1.
X: As a counselor manage, I hope that my advice which I am telling you today can help you.
C: As a counselor, I hope my advice to you today will be of great help.
2.
X: Here is some tips and advice what you have to do and you never do in a interview.
C: Here are some tips and advice regarding job interviews.
3.
X: Pretending you are positive person.
C: Pretend you are an optimistic person.
4.
X: Before you have an interview, you have to prepare answers of questions what you can expect.
C: Before the interview try to anticipate and prepare answers to the questions.
5.
X: You make good eye contact with your interviewer and show your enthusiasm in the position and the company.
C: Be sure to maintain eye contact with the interviewer, and display enthusiasm for the position you are applying for.
I am giving a tentative grade regarding your second out-of-class composition activity, which is as follows (ranging from 1-10): 0.0 Please see me during class for a nice chat.

Well, this past weekend you had MT (for the English Department, that is), so there won’t be any homework assignment other than the cyber-surfing task which will be explained in class on Thursday morning.
Well, I’ll see you in class. Get ready to do some serious cyber-surfing.
Take care.
TFJ
P.s.: please post only in English.
